California Tile & Stone is an artisanal tile business located in Berkeley, California, specializing in ceramic decorative and field tiles, as well as architectural trim.

Thehand-glazed, hand-pressed tiles are custom designed and produced with avariety of surface techniques, such as dry line, raised line, impressed and three-dimensional.

These techniques—brought to life with a broad spectrum of earth tones and saturated colors—are representative of those used in california’s early artisanal tiles from the 1920s–1940s.

The tile designs are exact replicas of original pieces created during that period, in styles ranging from Art Deco, Art & Crafts and Beaux Arts to moorish and Native American.

California Native Tile & Stone works with you to select colors consistent with the style of your tile design selections.

Colors can also be closely matched to meet your design needs, and projects are planned to stay within your budget.

Because the tiles are handmade, the lead time is 6–8 weeks, depending upon the time of year.
